Why is Healthy Fat Important On Optavia

If you’re trying to lose weight, you might be wondering why healthy fat is so important. After all, all fats have the same number of calories, so shouldn’t they all have the same effect on your weight? The answer is no. Healthy fats are essential for losing weight on the Optavia diet. Here’s why:

Healthy fats help you feel full and satisfied.

When you consume healthy fats, they send a signal to your brain that you’re full. This helps to prevent overeating and helps you stay on track with your diet.

Healthy fats help you burn stored fat.

When you consume healthy fats, your body is able to use them for energy. This means that it will start to burn stored fat for fuel, leading to weight loss.

Healthy fats help to regulate blood sugar levels.

When blood sugar levels are stable, it helps to prevent cravings and binge eating. This makes it easier to stick to your diet and achieve your weight loss goals.

So as you can see, healthy fat is important for losing weight on the Optavia diet. By including healthy fats in your diet, you’ll be able to stay fuller longer, burn stored fat, and regulate blood sugar levels.

Now that we know all about Optavia healthy fats, let’s take a look at a few of the best healthy fats to add to your Optavia shopping list and help you understand how many you can eat each day.

How many healthy fats can I have on Optavia?

The number of healthy fats you can have on the Optavia 5 & 1 plan depends on the type of lean protein you consume in your lean and green meal. If you choose a lean protein that is high in fat, such as salmon or red, then you will be limited to eating only one or no healthy fat per meal.

However, if you choose a lean protein that is low in fat, such as chicken or tofu, then you can have up to three healthy fats per meal. The key is to balance your intake of fatty proteins and carbohydrates so that you are getting the nutrients your body needs without overloading on calories. By following this guideline, you can ensure that you are getting the most out of your 5 & 1 plan and achieving your weight loss goals.

How Many Grams of Fat Are in Optavia Fuelings

The fuelings in your daily 5 & 1 plan contain very little fat. Less than 30% of calories in Optavia fuelings are in grams of fat. Low fat is important but as we’ve already discussed, so is the addition of the right amount of healthy fats. Make sure you follow your Optavia guide and your coach’s advice on your journey.
